Modeling probably won't be easy!
Why is this so difficult? Simple answer. Supply far exceeds the demand. Everyone wants to hire either the models who are already established or select from the small pool of professional models who have just recently achieved some degree of success and stature. These two groups tend to consume the entire supply of available jobs. This is another reason why it might be a good idea to have an alternative career in the making or find local work as a part-time model. Remember that the competition for the limited supply of modeling jobs is fierce and EXTREMELY COMPETITIVE on a world wide scale. If you are judging yourself as model material because everyone has always told you how beautiful you are and you should be a model, keep in mind that even though this may be true, the question remains, beautiful in comparison to what and to how many? And even if you are the most beautiful one in your school, college, community, or even state, so are thousands more from every state and hundreds of countries throughout the world. Besides, just being beautiful, no matter how stunning, does not a model make - at least not through the kaleidoscope eyes of the typical modeling agency. So, no matter how beautiful you are, unless you are very lucky, this still probably won't be easy. Refer back to Steps/Rules, 2 through 5 above.
